What gets me about this is that this person does not understand why we went away from paper food stamps. There were too many people trading food stamps for cash, which they would then spend on liquor and drugs. And people raiding other people’s mail boxes and stealing the food stamps. One of my friends had her food stamps stolen several times. True, most of the people on food stamps are honest, but electronic EBT keeps the money from being stolen or used for fraud.
